NVQ FAQs

Got questions about our NVQs? Have a look at our commonly asked questions below.

An NVQ is a competency-based qualification that assesses your real job skills with no written exams. You complete it by submitting workplace evidence such as documents, photos, videos, and reports. Your assessor reviews each unit, gives feedback, and conducts professional discussions until all criteria are met.

You are eligible if you are currently working in a relevant job role and can provide workplace evidence. No previous qualifications are required, and international learners can also enroll if they can show practical evidence from their job.

Completion time varies depending on evidence availability and your schedule. Most learners finish within 4–12 weeks. Highly experienced candidates with strong documents may complete even faster.

Fast-Track is for experienced professionals who already have most evidence ready. The assessor priorities your portfolio, enabling significantly quicker completion than the standard route.

Acceptable evidence includes photos, videos, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, accident reports, meeting minutes, inspections, witness testimonies, and professional discussions. Your assessor will guide you on what is needed for each unit.

Evidence can be submitted through the online portfolio platform, email, or even WhatsApp. You can upload files from your phone or computer, making the entire process flexible and mobile-friendly.

You receive full one-to-one support. You can contact your assessor whenever needed through WhatsApp, calls, messages, or video meetings. If required, a different assessor can be assigned.

Your assessor will provide templates, examples, and step-by-step guidance. If evidence is missing, options like professional discussions, reflective accounts, workplace tasks, or supervisor witness statements can be used to complete the requirement.

Yes. Accredited NVQs are fully recognized across the UK and internationally. After completion, you can apply for the appropriate CSCS card (Gold, Black, Supervisor, etc.) depending on the NVQ level.

Your completed portfolio goes through internal quality assurance (IQA). After approval, you receive your official certificate, which can be used for job applications, promotions, or industry card registration.

We offer full payment, instalment plans, and employer-funded options. Invoices, receipts, and learner progress updates are provided for both individuals and companies.

Yes. You can follow a clear progression path such as Level 3 → Level 4 → Level 6 → Level 7. Higher levels also support applications for professional memberships like IOSH, CIOB, or other industry bodies.
